Meet Dr. Chan | Los Angeles Oral Surgeon

Dr. Christopher Chan is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon born and raised in Los Angeles. He received his undergraduate education from the University of California, Los Angeles and then graduated from the University of Southern California with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. During dental school, he was elected President of the associated student body.

He then completed an internship at the University of Texas Southwestern / Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas followed by specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. During residency, he earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California and completed a year of general surgery. Dr. Chan has also first authored several publications in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, The Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal, and The Journal of Craniofacial Surgery.

Dr. Chan and his wife, Aneri have been happily married since 2017. She is currently a pediatric dentist practicing in the San Gabriel Valley. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, cheering for the LA Lakers and Rams, basketball, NBA 2K, and macroeconomics.
